This past fall, St. Chrysostom’s Adult Forum featured distinguished speakers on the history and causes of mass incarceration in our country: on the harm it has caused especially in African-American communities, and on some of the efforts to improve the criminal justice that are underway in Illinois and elsewhere.
People Magazine highlighted how the CDLU “deployed all the hardball tactics” to help the working poor.
The Wall Street Journal declared CDLU’s successful efforts on behalf of uninsured minorities “a big win.”

The CDLU is a nonprofit organization and public charity, and a leading consumer advocacy group. Founded in 2001, the CDLU’s mission is to educate and assist the public on any issue of importance. We created this website as a tool to assist and educate the public.
